Calmec recently undertook an exciting HVAC project for a care home in their local community. Our goal was to enhance the air quality, comfort, and energy efficiency of the home, allowing the residents to live in ultimate comfort.
We approached the project in multiple stages to ensure top-notch results. Firstly, our dedicated team expertly installed custom-fabricated ductwork and Mitsubishi lossnays throughout the care home, ensuring a balanced flow of fresh air in every room. Secondly, we meticulously fitted exterior louvres and grilles, leaving no loose ends. Lagging the fresh air supply and fitting the plasterboard ceiling were next on our list. And finally, we installed AC Splits in crucial areas like nurse stations, the com room, and laundry rooms for efficient cooling. These AC Splits are part of our energy-efficient HVAC system, equipped with variable speed drives to optimise performance and reduce energy consumption.
The result? A modern, safe, and reliable ventilation and cooling system that contributes to the overall comfort and safety of the care home residents and staff. Not only does it operate at optimum performance, but it also boasts a low carbon footprint, ensuring a comfortable environment in every room.
